Video Streaming – What To Expect

In the future consumers will no longer be bound to a specific time frame to view their favorite television shows. The show will simply be made available on a certain date and downloaded (possibly through an RSS feed and viewed at the convenience of the consumer). The show may then be archived for future referral.

The future is here when it comes to video streaming. Consumers may not fully comprehend the changes that have taken place nor have television producers come to fully appreciate the possibilities in video streaming, but the pieces are in place for a revolution in video consumption.

DVD rental locations are feeling the shift. Now consumers can download movies to watch via their computer. No longer do they have to visit the local DVD store to see if any copies are available, nor do they have to wait on shipments from those mail order DVD firms. Nope, now they simply wait for an online download and they can begin watching in a matter of minutes.

This is the same video streaming technology that is allowing entertainment consumers the opportunity to view movie trailers and teasers for upcoming television shows.

This new thought process will also create a ripple effect for certain motel chains that have movies on demand that can be purchased for an escalated price. A PC owner can use the free hi-speed Internet service to download an enormous selection of videos and forgo the motel offerings altogether.

You are able to view highlight reels of sports games and television offerings are slowly making the Internet another distribution point. In fact, the point of online video helps create a secondary platform where the entertainment consumer can also use interactive tools to find out more about characters, behind the scenes footage and character blogs.

It is conceivable that there will be a merger between your computer and television that can allow the two to interact in a way that brings more clarity to what you watch and more features for you to consider.

It is conceivable that in the future consumers will no longer be bound to a specific time frame to view their favorite shows. The show will simply be made available on a certain date and downloaded (possibly through an RSS feed and viewed at the convenience of the consumer). The show may then be archived for future referral. Abbreviated highlights of shows are also likely for those who simply want a recap of events without watching the entire program.

Newspaper and radio have already moved headlong into the world of online connections it is simple logic that says television will do the same.

It would seem our brains are being trained to find a way to connect our interests and the Internet is the most viable proving ground for bring everything together. This is true in our homes and it is true on the road with laptops, Blackberries and iPhones.

Video streaming will continue to provide a comprehensive means of bringing on demand consumers entertainment choices in a way that more closely fits their lifestyle.

Learn Music Production Online and Find Jobs

To learn music production online please follow this link..

So you've got that degree in Music Production - but after months of scouring the want ads, you're beginning to wonder if you shouldn't have backed it up with a minor in Education. Don't despair yet - you're a creative person or you wouldn't have chosen this business to begin with. The secret to finding and getting music production jobs is to use some of that creativity in your job search.

There are three things to keep in mind when doing a creative job search for music production jobs:

1. As many as 90% of the jobs in any media occupation never get advertised through regular channels. The music production companies get enough over the transom resumes that they can pick and choose without advertising.

2. In many music production jobs, networking will be a key part of your job description. If you can't network to get a job, you'll have a hard time convincing a hiring manager that you can do the job.

3. Sometimes the best way to get your foot in the door is to intern for a music production company. According to a recent survey conducted by CareerExposure, 94% of employers have offered a full time job to interns when their internship was finished.

Keeping those three things in mind, you can put together a creative music productions job search that will land you the position that you want using the following blueprint.

1. Do your homework. You should know the music production jobs that you're going after inside out. Read up on the web, visit the library and bookstores and find out all that you can.

2. Start applying your networking skills. Make a list of people you know who may be able to help you. Don't forget to include people like your ex-teachers, business acquaintances and people you know through other people. Did you do sound levels for a band? Have you interned for a publisher? Have you got a chance to attend a media symposium? Those are all important contacts for you when you're trying to network your way into music production jobs.

Boldness is an important skill to cultivate here. Ask for letters of introduction, or for permission to use someone's name when you contact another. It's amazing how quickly you'll get results with a simple statement like, "Hi, Mr. Producer, my name is Interested Party. My professor, Ms. In-The-Know suggested that I call you when I told her that I'm interested in an internship with your company. Do you have a few moments to talk with me about that now, or is there a better time to call you?"

3. All right, you're not quite that bold? There are several different methods of approach you can use to contact people who hold the keys to music production jobs.

- Mail is the most traditional method. Once you've researched enough to know what companies you want to work for, and who makes hiring decisions there, you can mail a resume along with an excellent cover letter. Chances are though, that you'll have to follow up on your initial mail. Remember point #1 above - music production companies get loads of over the transom resumes.

- Email is a second option, and is a reasonable way to follow up as well. If you've sent your resume by mail, wait a few days and then follow up with an email to the hiring manager stating that you're following up on your mailed resume and are very interested in discussing possible career options within his or her company. If you haven't, send a cover letter and resume via email, and follow up in a few days with a second email.

- Telephone calls may be scary, but they are one of the quickest ways to get through to the person you want to speak with. Keep in mind that your phone call is an interruption to the hiring manager's day - be pleasant, be brief and be direct.

The secret to finding and getting music production jobs is being bold enough to get yourself out there and sell your skills and abilities. With only 10% of the available jobs ever being offered openly in the classifieds, it's the only way that you'll ever know what music production jobs are available.

Improv Comedy for Speakers

Public speaking. For some, the mere thought of getting up in front of a group of people and presenting a speech is more terrifying than heights, snakes, or even death. Imagine how terrified those people would be if they were asked to get in front of an audience and speak with nothing prepared in advance – no script, no speech, no nothing.

Sound crazy? Well that is what Improvisational Comedians do every day. Improvisational (or “Improv”) Comedy is a form of theater where a group of actors take the stage with nothing prepared in advance and use audience suggestions to create instant comedy. If you have ever seen the popular television show, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” then you have seen Improv Comedy.

The skills that allow an improviser to create instant comedy can immensely help any speaker to be more comfortable and powerful from the platform. Here are three reasons why, if you want to be a more effective speaker, you must learn how to be a great improviser:

1) Improv Comedy, at its core, is about self-expression. An Improviser has only himself on an empty stage. Every idea he puts forth comes from inside of him. The best improvisers realize this and trust their instincts and let their ideas flow out. Similarly, the best speakers realize that the audience is there to see them. Rather than hide behind other people’s ideas or style, they are 100% themselves as they speak. Many speakers make the mistake of taking acting classes to be more “dramatic” as they speak. The result is a speaker that looks fake and wooden. Audiences don’t want “dramatic;” they want natural. Practicing improv comedy techniques can help you be much more natural.

2) Improv Comedy is an interactive format. Improvisation may be the only art form where the audience is present at the time of creation. As a result, the audience’s needs, wants, and mood can be taken into account to direct the content. Great improvisers feed off of a crowd’s energy and build content the audience appreciates. The performer pays attention to the audience and makes subtle adjustments as she goes. Speakers would do well to adopt this approach. Most speakers prepare their speech in a vacuum and deliver it exactly as practiced. However, every audience is different. If a speaker pays attention to the audience as she is speaking, she can also make subtle adjustments to increase her effectiveness (adjusting pacing, energy, volume, etc) If you do this, not only will your speech be more powerful, but you will also develop that coveted “rapport and connection” with the audience.

3) Things will go wrong. A speaker who relies solely on what they’ve memorized will be easily thrown by the distractions that invariably happen. If time gets cut, or a cell phone rings, or a heckler demands attention, the speaker will have no response. To an improviser, distractions are just one more tool to use to make their point. A key improv attitude is to “go with the flow.” As a speaker, this attitude will allow you to be unflappable from the stage. You will be deemed a true professional, and audiences will admire your ability to handle interruptions.

These are just three simple ideas that are a powerful way in which improv comedy can make anyone a more powerful speaker. There are many more ways related to all aspects of speaking: content, delivery, storytelling, style, humor, etc, but these three are the perfect starting point.

If you have never done or used improv, then consider taking a class. Not only will you learn useful skills for speaking (and life), but it will be the most fun class you’ve ever taken!

You Love Them Because They're Funny!

For years I heard woman after woman say after obviously falling in love, "He's so funny! I just love that about him."

Often after someone has lost a family member, they'll say "I'll always remember her smile, the way she laughed, the little jokes she would tell to lighten the mood."

Could it be we love people who have a great sense of humor? I've always thought so. And now we have scientific proof of what many of us long suspected. Humor is one of the things we enjoy most about life and, frequently, the people we love are the ones who make us smile.

Fortunately for those of us who probably aren't that funny, humor is most often in the eye of the beholder. The guys at work may not laugh at your wise cracks, but if SHE laughs, well that's all that matters.

For a long time, nobody in the scientific world knew much about humor. But during the past 20 years, more and more research has been done. We know what parts of our brains deal with humor. We also know when a baby starts to develop a sense of humor.

So don't hesitate. Let your funny bone show through!

* When you think something is funny, don't be afraid to let it out. Just think first if your remark might be taken the wrong way by those in earshot. Humor is great -- foot-in-mouth is less great.

* Use humor to ease uncomfortable situations. When the mood starts to get tense, an appropriate chuckle and humorous side remark can get everyone back on track.

* If you're not naturally funny, read cartoons, joke books, the laugh lines at the back of Reader's Digest, and pay attention to how script writers set up funny situations on TV. You CAN learn to be more humorous than you are. Pay attention to humor and your sense of humor will develop.

Above all else, be someone who APPRECIATES humor. Try not to make someone feel bad when you don't find their attempt at humor to be all that funny. As long as the humor isn't in grossly poor taste, give your humorist a smile. And be one who isn't afraid to chortle and guffaw when someone really pushes your funny button. A good laugh can be the best medicine you've had all day.

Female Infertility

“What is the essence of a woman?” This is one of the questions the judges asked during the 1994 Miss Universe competition. One contestant, Sushmita Sen, gave such a wonderful answer that she won the Miss Universe title that year. According to her, the essence of a woman is being a mother to a child and teaching him (or her) about sharing, caring and loving. Indeed, one of the main and most important roles of any woman is being a good mother to her children. However, not every woman is blessed with the ability to bear a child.

Pregnancy is one stage in life that almost every woman will undergo. Women, with their unique anatomy and physiology, are naturally built to be capable of producing life. For some reason, however, some women are not able to do this. This situation leads to various negative effects on a woman's relationship with her partner and her self-concept. In response to this concern, different treatments or medications are already available for women to consider. However, some, if not all, of those treatments have certain disadvantages or side effects.

Based on a discussion about infertility posted at About.com, infertility can be caused by three main reasons. Those involving a woman's anatomy are classified under structural issues, which can be problems occurring in the fallopian tube, uterus or cervix caused by blockage, fibroid or insufficient opening. Another possible cause concerns the physiology of pregnancy --- a bio-mechanical issue. Scar tissues that can cause blockage within the uterus and fallopian tube can hinder a woman from getting pregnant. Finally, infertility can originate from a primary problem with ovulation and is thus called an ovulatory issue. Hormonal abnormalities, the effect of some medications and other health problems can harm the functioning of the ovary and cause ovarian failure.

A woman's inability to get pregnant can be very stressful not only to herself but also to her partner. Because it is expected of her to bear children, not being able to do so is considered a failure on her part. The pressure imposed on her by her partner and other people may add up to her stress and anxiety. She may start blaming herself for this situation and develop a concept of herself as someone who is “damaged.” Her partner, on the other hand, may feel both disappointed and helpless faced with this problem. The stressfulness of their problem can cause negative changes in their mood and attitude. If the stress and anxiety of having this problem will not be dealt with properly, it can lead to frequent fighting between couples and possibly cause them to separate or divorce.

Despite the initial feeling of helplessness, couples may still find encouragement in seeking possible solutions to a woman's infertility. Nowadays, medications like clomiphene citrate, follicle- stimulating hormone, and human menopausal gonadotropins are available in the market to stimulate ovulation in a woman. These treatments, however, have potential side effects which include multiple birth incidence, headaches or blurred vision, depression and mood swings, pelvic discomforts and ovarian cysts. Solution for structural and mechanical issues that cause infertility can be resolved mostly through surgery.

Another approach based on oriental medicine is also currently recognized as an effective treatment for female infertility. Methods included under this approach include acupuncture and herbal medicine. The goal of acupuncture is to open the blocked energy that prevents fertilization. This is also believed to help restore the balance among organs especially in the endocrine system. On the other hand some herbal plants when ingested can increase the chances of pregnancy. These forms of treatment, however, can take a long time covering a period of approximately three to twelve months before it can be effective.

With all available options as treatment for infertility nowadays, women may still fulfill their yearning for motherhood. Despite the disadvantages or side effects of some medications, it is through careful consideration that women or couples should decide what to undergo. If, despite all alternatives, pregnancy is still not possible for some women, this does not necessarily mean losing their essence. After all, motherhood is not just attained biologically.

Fidelity Plays A Part In Preventing Infertility

One of the contributing factors which leads to infertility is our aggressiveness or promiscuity in the past. pregnancy is the most exciting part the couple's marriage. Parenthood is something to look forward too but when it didn't happened, it could prove to be a an empty space in their relationship.

Fulfillment in marriage is achieved the day when you become a complete family. When two committed individuals produce a child together as a testament to their undying love and devotion, they usually take pride in finally having their own identity as a family.

However, not all couples experience the bliss of having their own child. Currently, about 20% of couples in the United States are struggling with infertility. Infertility is the failure of a couple to conceive a pregnancy after trying for at least a year or so. Another well-known fact is that fertility in women decreases with age. If a woman keeps having a miscarriage, that too can be considered a negative effect of infertility.

Diagnosis for a man comes from undergoing a sperm test while the woman needs to have her ovaries checked by an obstetrician especially if she is already in her 30s. Another factor for the cause of infertility is having multiple sexual partners. Research shows that early sexual activity in women predispose them to various sexual health problems. Sexually Transmitted Disease or STD also cause or exacerbate cases of infertility, as shown in the case of women with pelvic inflammatory disease.

Shown below are some of the common causes of infertility:

l ovulation problems
l tubal problems
l endomtriosis
l low sperm count

To address the problem of infertility, some reproductive techniques were developed to help couples improve their chances of conception. These techniques include in vitro fertilization, zygote intrafallopian tube transfer, and gamete infrafallopian transfer. In vitro fertilization involves the use of a drug to induce the simultaneous release of many eggs from the female's ovaries. In the meantime, several semen samples are obtained from the male partner, and a sperm concentrate is prepared for implantation. The ova and sperm are then combined in the laboratory. The female may be given drugs to ensure that her uterus is ready to receive an embryo. There would be three or four of the embryos are transferred to the female's uterus. Gamete intrafallopian transfer involves retrieval of both multiple ova and semen. It uses a mechanical placement that is used to tranfer the fertilized egg into the fallopian tubes. While zygote intrafallopian tube transfer involves the same retrieval of ova and semen and growth, fertilization are done in the laboratory at to which point the zygotes are placed in the fallopian tubes. In general, it is believed that all couples should undergo a complete evaluation of infertility then followed by a treatment. Watch out for other symptoms within the six months your having irregular periods and investigate further by knowing if you're partner have any known fertility problems. Or any if your family has any history experiencing difficulties on becoming pregnant or gone through early menopause.

Coping with infertility is not easy. You have no control and you can't predict how long it will last. But it is also an opportunity that you support one another in what ever emotional turmoil you are undergo. Practice relaxation, Stay in touch with your loved ones. Being a parent might take long or a bit delayed but never lose hope.

Panic Attack: A Real Illness With A Sense Of Unreality

Panic attacks are symptoms of panic disorder, a type of anxiety disorder affecting millions of adults in the U.S. While the exact cause of panic disorder is yet to be known, researchers suspect a combination of biological and environmental factors may contribute to the development of the condition.

It's like having a heart attack. Your hands feel numb, your heart is racing that you have difficulty breathing, and a feeling of terror strike suddenly and repeatedly without any warning. A panic attack is almost like a violent experience. You may feel disconnected from reality. In between attacks, there is dread and anxiety that it's going to happen again.

Panic attacks are symptoms of panic disorder, a type of anxiety disorder affecting millions of adults in the U.S. today. It usually develops during the late teens and early adulthood, and may afflict twice as many women as men. However, not everyone who experiences panic attacks will develop panic disorder. While the exact cause of panic disorder is yet to be known, researchers suspect a combination of biological and environmental factors may contribute to the development of the condition. It includes family history, stressful life events, drug and alcohol abuse, and thinking patterns that exaggerated normal physical reactions.

Though panic attacks usually produce a sense of unreality, it is a real illness that can be treated successfully. It can be a truly terrifying experience and may occur at any time, even during sleep. An attack usually peaks within 10 minutes, but some symptoms may last much longer. During a panic attack, your heart will pound and you may feel sweaty, weak, faint, or dizzy. Your hands may tingle or feel numb, and you might feel flushed or chilled. You may have nausea, chest pain or smothering sensations, a sense of unreality, or fear of impending doom or loss of control.
When faced with a problem or a situation, people experience anxiety. It's quite normal to be anxious about stressful situations. However, someone who is suffering from panic disorder may react to the same pressures with an exaggerated physical reaction. This makes panic attack even more frightening because despite of the absence of real danger, episodes can still happen anytime, anywhere. It can occur while strolling in the park, chilling out with friends, shopping at the mall, and even in the middle of the night while you are sound asleep.

Fear of having another attack usually haunts a person suffering from panic disorder. Such fear can severely affect daily activities. There are people who would refuse to leave their houses for fear of becoming vulnerable to such attacks, or they try to avoid being reminded of previous attacks. Over time, they may develop other mental disorders or phobia, such as agoraphobia or the fear of being outside of known and safe surroundings.

Panic disorder is often accompanied by other serious problems, such as depression, drug abuse, or alcoholism. The good news is that there is a wide variety of effective treatments for panic disorder available. Some of the better known treatments are called psychotherapy or talk therapy, cognitive, or biofeedback therapy. These methods were developed to help alter a person's response to triggers. Other treatment options include the use of antidepressant medications and beta-blockers. A change in lifestyle, such as limiting caffeine and having a daily fitness regimen, can also help reduce symptoms of panic disorder.

How to Avoid Panic Attacks

Anyone who has ever had a panic attack knows how life stopping these events can feel. A panic attack can seriously hurt your quality of life by causing you become terrified of a repeat episode. This terror is just another negative side effect of panic attacks, and you should learn to think of it as such so that you can get on with your life without the constant fear of a panic attack hanging over your head. Worrying about having a panic attack all the time might even cause you to trigger panic attacks later.

Panic attacks feel a lot like heart attacks. A panic attack might cause your heart to race, and it might cause you to become short of breath. You might find that you feel dizzy or light headed, and they are characterized with the feeling of life or death importance. It is not uncommon to believe that you are dying or about to die when you are having a panic attack. Fortunately for sufferers, they are usually not of a long duration, and will stop when they have run their course, usually a few minutes, or when the cause of the panic is removed.

If you are terrified that you might have another panic attack, you may just end up cutting yourself off from everything in order to avoid having another. You might hide from the world, or otherwise separate yourself from the friends and family who might otherwise be able to help you. If this sounds familiar to you, then you need to consider seeking professional help to empower you to dispel the threat of panic attacks that hangs over your head.

You may also be able to help yourself by avoiding the situations that cause you to have your panic attacks in the first place. One of the biggest causes of panic attacks is stress, and if you are constantly in stressful situation, then you will be at a much higher risk for panic attacks in the future. This stress is not necessarily the stress that comes over a few days over a particular event; panic attacks are triggered by constant stress over a period of months or sometimes even longer. This stress is often too much for people to bear, and even if we do not realize that, our bodies do, and they rebel.

Panic attacks can also be caused by certain situations. If you get a panic attack every time you are running late, or stuck in traffic, or going over a bridge, then you need to make sure to avoid those situations to prevent these same events from triggering more panic attacks in the future. You can take a different route to work, leave early, and avoid roads that you know will be snarled with traffic or even head to a local place for dinner after work before facing the drive home.

If you practice avoiding panic attacks and chart where you were, what you were doing, and how you felt immediately prior to each panic attack, then you can use this information to avoid the things that trigger you. You may be able to save yourself a lot of trouble with your mental and even your physical health later down the road.

Panic attacks do not just feel remarkably like heart attacks; recent studies have linked experiencing panic attacks with an increased likelihood of actually having a heart attack later. Keep your odds low and keep your stress levels down to avoid panic attacks and to remain as healthy as possible. No one likes to suffer, and panic attacks certainly fall into the category of suffering.

If you are at risk for panic attacks or you have had them in the past, then you should examine the past causes of your panic attacks so that you can help yourself to avoid similar situations in the future. You should also get in contact with your doctor to find out if you may need medication or therapy to help you take charge of your life and get away from the panic attacks. It can be difficult to determine exactly the best means of preventing panic attacks, but you may get better results when pairing the practice of avoiding triggers with medication to help you feel calmer. A therapist can also help you learn mental tricks to help you ride through the panic attacks without completely losing your cool the next time you feel one coming on.

So Why Hypnosis

Is hypnotherapy really something that can help people overcome issues that seem to hold them, or is it something that should be left on the stage. What is the history of hypnotherapy and how is it relevant for us today.

So how can hypnotherapy help you with your problem?

People can find themselves looking for hypnosis therapy for a number of reasons. Perhaps you have a bad habit such as smoking that you are trying to break. Or maybe you want to loose weight, tried all the diets and nothing has helped.

Another reason may be because of a relationship breakdown, or jealousy in a relationship.

All these are common reasons as to why someone may be looking for a hypnotherapist to help them with their everyday issues.

Hypnotherapy is not a new concept, infact; it has been around since the beginning of time. Some animals put themselves in a trance like state when they go into hibernation and are able to go without nourishment for long periods of time.

Hypnotherapy became more understood by physicians around the 19th century.

It is true to say that not everyone can be hypnotised. Research shows that people with the ability to perceive what is going on around them and recognise changes in their own awareness may block themselves from being helped through therapy.

Others can find that they are easily hypnotised. This is because they are more able to enter a trance like state and respond better to suggestions through their subconciousness.

Hypnotherapy has also been tested along with modern medicines to analyse people’s different responses to treatment.

On a number of occasions, groups of people who are receiving the same medical treatment have been separated and hypnosis therapy has been given to one section of the group to see what affects may occur.

More often than not, those who received hypnosis therapy felt less pain and anxiety and made a speedier recovery, which in turn, saved costs on medical treatment.

It is unfortunate that most people’s first introduction to hypnotherapy is stage hypnosis which gives the idea that hypnotherapy is where someone puts you under a spell and controls your movements causing you to perform in front of an audience some kind of bizarre act.

This is not what hypnotherapy is all about.

When a person looks to a hypnotherapist to help them with their problem, although they will put in a very relaxed state, they are always going to be aware of what is happening around them.

Hypnotherapy has helped lots of people with various different conditions, psychological as well as having a positive effect on their behaviour and has been effectively demonstrated through medical research.

Hypnosis has helped people overcome common and uncommon issues that people are faced with in their everyday lives, offering a release from pressures and conditions that seem to have a hold over them either by bad habits such as smoking or psychological issues such as jealousy.

Whatever the issue is that you may be facing, hypnosis can have a positive effect and help you overcome these issues.

Hypnosis - Where’s the Magic?

The word hypnosis or hypnotherapy drums up all kinds of different ideas as to what hypnosis actually is. Is it where someone casts a spell on you so that you are totally under their control? Is it the joker on the stage making you do crazy things to amuse an audience? Or is it simply talking to your subconscious mind?

What is hypnosis and why does is it intrigue us so much?

There are many different definitions of hypnosis, the first result in search engines is:

A trance-like state in which a person becomes more aware and focused and is more open to suggestion.

The Oxford dictionary tells us that hypnosis is the induction of a state of consciousness in which a person loses the power of voluntary action and is highly responsive to suggestion or direction.

Many hypnotherapists would disagree with the Oxford dictionaries explanation of what hypnosis means. The idea of losing power over your actions during hypnosis is not what hypnotherapy is about in their opinion.

Hypnotists will tell you that hypnosis is to do with relaxation of your mind and body; however, you are in total control and can not be made to do anything you don’t want to do.

Hypnosis is more about making someone so relaxed that the therapist is able to speak directly to your subconscious mind, which will have a positive affect on your mind when you are fully conscious.

If for example you are afraid of spiders and you went to see a hypnotherapist to overcome this fear, the therapist would put you in a relaxed state, and speak to your subconscious mind about your fear of spiders. They would tell you that when you see a spider, they will no longer scare you etc.

If a therapist spoke these thoughts to you whilst you were fully alert, it would probably make no difference at all, but by speaking to you in a relaxed state of hypnosis, you cannot argue in your mind with the idea that next time you see a spider you will still be afraid.

Our subconscious mind is influence everyday without us really realising. We can hear a tune on the radio and think to ourselves, where have I heard that before? It was probably playing in the background somewhere where you have been.

We used to have a colleague at work who would deliberately walk into our office, whistle a tune whilst sending a fax, no one really took any notice as they were getting on with their work, however, a few minutes after he had gone, someone else (normally me) would hum the tune without really realising why and other people said they had that tune running around their head.

Oddly as it seems, the tune was planted into our subconscious mind without us really noticing.

That isn’t a magic trick, that is someone recognising that although we may be concentrating on one thing, our subconscious picks up everything that is going on around us.

The difference with us and hypnotist is that they have learned the art of this and how this can have an affect on us.

Even the stage hypnotist would like you to believe they have some kind of magic power, but infact, all they are really doing is talking to your subconcious through signs so that you will be more susceptible and amazed when they hit you with their trick.

Genuine hypnotherapists recognise that they can have a positive affect of people by using their skill, whether it be overcoming a fear, loosing weight, stopping bad habits or building up your self confidence, whatever it may be, you can at least know that there is no magic involved, and it is not a tool to make you do things you would not want to do in your normal alert state.
